I heart texas
so, carlee and i have been in texas for a little over two weeks now... it's gone by fast. less than a week left before we start our drive back to florida. the weather was freezing the first week we were here, but today it's beautiful. we've been really busy, trying to fit visits in with all the family, and i even got to hang out with some friends from highschool on saturday. i really needed that night, it was my first night away from the baby in a looooong time. carlee is playing on the floor with the remote, successfully changing the channel every now and then... haha... she's learned alot since we got here, she can now wave, shake her head no, and use the walker my mom bought her like a pro. she's grown alot just in the past few weeks. i miss texas. i forgot how much i love it here. i drove to georgetown today (next to austin) to pick up my grandma, and i fell in love with texas' scenery all over again. it was a nice morning for a drive, and the baby was quiet the whole way. i like all kinds of music, but since i got here, i've found myself listening to country more than anything else. i guess it just matches how i feel right now. sometimes i wonder what it would of been like if tony and i had just stayed here after graduating... lived a simple life, have jobs, be near family, you know... some days i wish we had chosen that path. i'm simple.. i'd love to be near family in our small town... but then again, if we had made that decision, i'm sure today i'd be blogging about wishing we had left this town and done something with our lives....
new tv came in today
the new tv came in this morning... it's quite big. 52 inch widescreen HD tv... yeah... I thought it was a little over the top, but tony's been lusting after one for two years now... haha. so carlee and i watched her cartoons this morning, she was quite fascinated by it... her favorite characters were suddenly twice as tall as she is lol... then my soaps... then we took a walk... i let her swing at the playground... so pretty much uneventful... except for the tv...
while i was walking carlee there was a loud bunch of girls and their kids at the playground... i could of walked over and said hi, but i figured why bother... it's hard for me to make friends... and i'm leaving in a few months anyway... ugh... i've made a few really really good friends here in the past two years... i'm going to miss them. :( i'm getting a little anxious about moving to italy i think... tony thinks there's still plenty of time left... but i keep telling him there's not. i'll be home feb, then we only have march and april to get everything taken care of. overseas screening, passports, packout, leave time.... it's a little overwhelming to me, but apparently i blow everything out of proportion for some reason... anywho... tony will be home tomorrow... he'll enjoy his tv... saturday my grandparents will pick me up... and i will be gone... and he will probably have a gaming party with the new tv... i know he will... i know my husband too well... i'm freakin exhausted... and i'm rambling.. so i'll shut up now... haha... good night.
yeah, i'm still up
ok, so i'm still up... it's after 10 and i'm waiting for tony to get home from work... i'm watching the grammys... tell LLCoolJ to keep his tongue in his mouth LMAO! and why is everything rap-ified? come on! leave rock alone! don't rapify it! it seemed like they paired a rapper up with everyone and every song... don't get me wrong i like rap... once in a while... like how much i like peanut butter... it's okay to have once in a while... the flavor is okay... but shove too much in your face and it's like you're choking on it! ahh! Do you think they did that because of rappers' politically edginess? I do. Think that they think more people will watch? well... I was watching only because there was nothing else on... and now it's 10:40 and tony's home and changed the channel to news. good night! :D

Got my last fillings today! ugh! finally... lol... I don't know how many she did today, but the front side two hurt like hell when she gave me four shots... "the front shots hurt the worst" she said... yeah, thanks.
well, tony had the first part of the day off so we could take care of all this... my dentist appointment. Dr. signed my papers, so we took them over to the overseas screening girl. Tried to get our passports done, but the guy was gone and we waited forever and he never showed up... I got my hair cut today. Finally! I've been wanting to for a long time, and finally got the chance to do it. I love it. anywho... this is just a quick update. Tony had to go into work at 4:30 and still hasn't called for me to pick him up. :( grrr... and carlee's still up, because I know as soon as I put her to bed and she falls asleep, he's going to call and say, "ok I'm ready." lol
