church's

carlee and i went to a caching event yesterday with our friend stress and his family. it was alot of fun... and to think i almost didn't go... tony ended up with duty on saturday and i didn't want to drive all the way to union county by myself with the baby. plus, friday night had been stressfull! carlee was soooo fussy, and she woke up every few hours! so by the time i woke up to take tony to work, i was really second guessing my decision to go, but in the end, i decided i better take advantage of having something to do, and a chance to hang out with friends and have fun... (geez was that a run-on! lol) anyway, so stress said the baby and i could ride with them, which was cool. the event was fun... caching stuff... i won't go into it here, lol... anyway, on the way back to stress' house, we past a Church's fried chicken. it's the first one i've seen since we moved here a year and a half ago. we had them back in texas... and i LOVE them! so i was really excited... i told tony today after we got home from me picking him up at work, "we have to go to church's today!" (even though it's like 15 minutes away! lol) so we drive over there for lunch... and guess what? they didn't have any chicken tenders thawed out! GEEZ! how do you not unfreeze food on a weekend!?! i don't understand! i was so dissapointed... oh well, maybe next weekend. lol....

that was pretty much what we did today... we've been just relaxing around the house... or is bumming a better word? lol... gotta go get carlee... she just woke up from her oh i'd say 7 minute nap. dernit. hope everyone had a good weekend! :D

We have a couple Church's chicken here and you know, I haven't eaten there in years. It is really good!

Carlee will probably get to two or three of good long naps soon enough. Sounds like she's in that catnap stage. I remember that - it was near torture, I felt like I wasn't getting a moment to myself. Before you know it she'll be playing by herself for periods of time and you'll be able to get lots done while you watch her explore and enjoy. It's amazing when they hit that independence and curiosity kicks in... what little sponges they are!
